This painting is a portrayal of peace. A luminous white dove in mid-flight has its wings outstretched as though embracing the sky leaving the impression the bird has just arisen from the earth and carries with it a quiet promise. This image is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. “I am leaving you with a gift. And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27
